Back to business! 05.03.2010

I am officially back to work! I was suppose to be back on Saturday but Mother nature had a different idea, so Sunday was the day and I couldn't have had more fun! Hanging out with Erin, Ken and their puppy dog was like hanging out with friends I've known forever!

I love it when clients have ideas or things they want to incorporate to make their session unique to them! In Erin's case, she's been eatting LOTS of cold cereal so, of course, we had to run with it! :)

Ken is a big Tiger's fan so we had to represent!

This is one HOT soon-to-be Mama!

Erin was a big trooper when I asked her to sit in this damp field while getting picked from the weeds, I definitely think it was worth it! I hope she agrees! :)

I've decided to give one high school senior a free portrait session! Here's the deal:

This contest is, of course, for someone graduating next year, class of 2011 (craziness) because if you're in the class of 2010 you've kinda missed the boat! :) So if you know a senior or you are a senior, email me at kelli@purpletreephotography.com and tell me why they/you deserve to win! Be creative! It doesn't have to be a dramatic reason, it could be that you've gotten your friends to stop texting and driving or because you managed not to skip your Algebra 2 class this year! Emails must be in by May 3rd to be considered. I will pick the top three entries and post them here to be voted on! Whoever gets the most votes wins! It's that simple!

What is at stake: One free portrait session PLUS 10 digital negatives from your session!

The rules: You may nominate yourself or someone else. Please email me at kelli@purpletreephotography with the subject line "contest" by May 3rd. Please include your nominee's name, email address and phone number. Portrait session must take place on a weekday between now and August 31st 2010. The location of the portrait session must be agreed upon by me and be within 30 miles of 48154. Digital negatives over the allotted 10 and products can be purchased at regular price. Winner may not exchange session for monetary value.

I stopped by Titzy's in Royal Oak the other day to chat with the fabulous owner Tiffany! I've always wanted to stop in and finally did. It was definitely worth it! My little guy might have gotten a thing or two out of it! ;) It's such a cute store and the perfect place to get a unique gift, not to mention I always like to support our local peeps! :) Check it out!
