I stopped into Sincerely Yours today and all I can say is wow! They have so many invitations, announcements, cards, gifts, etc. that my head was spinning! Although the owner, Tiffany, was a bit camera shy she is super duper nice! :) If you're in need for any kind of invite or anything even close check out Sincerely Yours! Plus, Northville is a cute downtown to visit! :)

Um...yeah, did I mention they can do custom wedding, Christmas or party invites?

Love this!

Of course they alo have birth announcements!

Thanks to Tiffany for letting me check everything out today!

30 weeks 12.20.2009

When your husband is at work most of the daylight hours & the rest of the time you don't look "picture worthy", aka haven't showered (a perk of working from home, don't judge me) you get creative. As it turns out the arm of the couch works just fine as a tripod.

I'm a bit of a planner, so it didn't take long after I saw that positive pregnancy test for me to start, well, planning! :) And although I realize there is a lot you can't control/plan about your child's actual birth, I began to think about what my ideal birth would be and how I could accomplish it. Fast forward to today, at almost 30 weeks pregnant, Chris and I just completed our HypnoBirthing classes with Pauline at Heartfelt Hypnosis! To find out more about HypnoBirthing visit her site since it will explain it better then I could. I very much enjoyed the class, meeting the other couples, and learning about more then just giving birth. I know Chris also enjoyed it because he had to make an effort to get out of work to make it (it also provided a bit of nap time for him as he fell asleep at least once in almost every class and not because he was bored, but because he was so relaxed!). Some of what is taught I think will truly help us in our everyday lives and the stress it brings. Since my child isn't actually here yet, what unfolds is yet to be seen but I feel very calm and as prepared as I think I can feel! If you are pregnant or plan to be, I recommend giving Pauline a call!

Let me guess, when you woke up this morning you thought, "Oh GOOD it's FREEZING outside! PERFECT for a nice long walk" right? No? Well apparently you aren't one of my dogs then. During the summer, when it's sunny and nice outside, are they bugging me to walk them, nooooo. I pretty much have to walk them in the early morning or at night during the summer months or Oscar will completely refuse to go! But this morning, YES, when it feels like 10 below, they are bouncing around like ping pong balls DYING to get outside (the only thing that would make it better for them would be 10 feet of snow). This morning I gave in and we went for an HOUR long walk in the FREEZING cold (thank you to Northface for making that walk possible). And now, I work in peace and they are passed out.

Note that they are both, unsuccessfully, trying to pry their eyes open to wonder why I have the camera shoved in their face.

Worth the wait! 12.15.2009

I was looking very forward to meeting Reed! I photographed his parents beautiful intimate wedding last December (Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!) and I'm friends with Mom on facebook, so I got to see all the updates on how she was doing throughout her pregnancy. I finally got to meet baby Reed this past weekend and he was just perfect!

Erynne is going to be a fabulously fun big sister!

Welcome baby Reed!

P.S. I CAN'T belive I'm going to have a baby Reed of my own in (roughly) two and a half months!!!
