my grandfather has always had a passion for photography, and my mom has always been the one taking all the pictures on vacations, at parties and on holidays. i’ve always loved art, design and creative thinking in all forms; a television commercial, a cool chair, a piece of jewelry, a CD cover, a photograph, etc.  i attended College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and although i did take photography, i graduated with a graphic communication degree with an art direction major. while working in the advertising world, i considered photography a hobby until, with a small twist of fate, i met a fabulous photographer who encouraged me to make it more.  thank God for her!

ever since then, i’ve been pushing myself to be more creative and to take better pictures. i believe that everything happens for a reason, and my time as an art director has not been in vain, as i still use the basic design skills i have learned through the years.  that’s why i love photography... there are so many elements involved; from the subject, to the environment, the emotion and the design. i love that years from now people will look back and enjoy photos that i had the pleasure of taking! i’m very lucky that people need, want and love pictures and i love taking them.
