Are you…ahm…not such a great photographer? Or do you know someone who's not so great? It's ok to admit! We all have things we're not so great at! I'm a terible speller (see what I did there? Seriously, that one was on purpose) and don't ask me to catch a baseball (there's a story that ends with me having a very large welt on my head).
Has your finger made an appearance in the corner of some of your photos? Do you have pictures of your family that are blurrier than a NASCAR race? Is your camera sooo 1999 or is your new camera more complicated then your smart phone to your Grandma? Well, then you (or someone you nominate) are in luck!
I'm giving away one FREE portrait session PLUS 10 digital negatives* to the worst photographer. Because everyone deserves some fingerless, stress free, redeyeless (is that a word?) photographs of their family for their home! 
Here's how to enter:
Email me at kelli@purpletreephotography.com with the subject line "worst photographer" explaining why you or someone you know is a bad photographer. Please include yours or your nominee's name, email address and phone number. MAJOR extra brownie points if you have a crappy photo or two as an example! Since the holidays were less then a month ago, many of us have a bad photo or two! Submissions must be in by January 31st by midnight. Depending on the amount of enteries and my ability to choose a winner, we may just have a vote here on the blog for a winner.
*The winner receives, one free portrait session by yours truly plus 10 digital negatives of their choice from their session. Portrait session must take place between now and August 31st 2011. The location of the portrait session must be agreed upon by me and be within 30 miles of 48154. Digital negatives over the allotted 10 and products can be purchased at regular price. Winner may not exchange session for monetary value.

Why has the blog been so darn quiet you ask? It's not because I've been sitting back eating bon bons and watching Oprah (I wish), I've been hard at work designing birth announcements!!! I worked hard to design (what I hope you will find to be) beautiful, modern and unique designs with an option for everyone. Here is just a sampling from the designs available!

Last week, what I'm assuming to be some version of the flu bulldozed our family! We're all feeling much better now! Some more then others since my hubby is recovering in sunny and much warmer California, for work, but I'm not bitter. Here's a picture of the frost on our back door. Ahhh, Winter can be so pretty…never mind that door freezes shut and I have to kick it open to let Bella out to go potty…nope, not bitter.
